Infected sure has changed since its inception.
We no longer have segents like the tech news ticker and ricky kang. the newer episodes don't have as much discussion between gator, martin, and joey. the segments sound a lot more planned out now. the stories are still good, though. i think gator must be kind of camera shy...he doesn't have the same prescence as he did pre-video. he makes little quips, but doesn't really go on with stories about himself as much. joey is still mia...bring back the bird nerd i think the guests are good, but i hope they stay separate from Webdrifter (except for alex chui, of course) speaking of alex, i think he's the most popular guest on the show. interesting on how his shit doesnt change much from appearance to appearance. we've heard all about his magic rings (its still hilarious)...but maybe come up with a better role for him? infected has been on for over a year...and still nobody can understand what the **** johnny o'banion is saying. i usually fast forward through is rambling. does martin think he's funny? whats the joke with johnny o'banion? i don't get it. what the **** happened to sargeworld? overall i still like infected, ive been listening since ep 1, and its still good. i had to bring up some of these things though, because i liked some of the segments that seem to be over with. |

I agree. More talking between Martin, Gator & Joey.
Please bring back the 'high tech news ticker'! |

i have to agree as well. I started out on the vireo format, but I recently went back and watched the pre-vid shows. I don't know what it is but since the cameras come out, there just isn't as much soul in the shows. Especially joey, he brought something to the show that the show is now lacking. Gator was more, gator and less sidekick.

I agree with everything, except that I happen to think Johnny O'Bannion is hilarious. I wish he was still making regular appearances. It definitely feels like something has been lost from the show. Interviews are often too short, or not interesting enough, and of course not as much Joey.
That said, the show is still great, and I still look forward to it every week. |
