Tryptophan Overload: Thanksgivings and Misgivings - General Discussion for 11/21/07
Happy Thanksgiving, people.
What are we thankful for this year? Me, I'm thankful that back in the Fall I parted ways with my tonsils. I'd decided to enjoy a classic recovery. Ice cream and comic books. Over the past few years I'd been reading trades off and on. But in preparation for the surgery I decided to pick up a whole stack of things to read. Ultimate Spider-Man, New Avengers, a little Batman. Runaways. And this led me to iFanboy, and eventually the forums. And few days have passed where I haven't talked nonsense over with you folks. There would be no Fuzzy Typewriter, and I can think of a couple of other developments that wouldn't have been possible otherwise. So this year I'm thankful for you guys. All the recommendations, advice, and laughs. Hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday weekend.

I'm thankful that this rotten year is almost over and for socks.
It was almost 60 when I got up this morning, it is now 45 and raining. It's being predicted that it will be in the 30s with snow before nightfall. I can't wait for Star Trekie weather modifying things.
