Sizing Guide?

Hey, I was about to purchase items off the Rev3 store and unfortunately I fit in that category where I am right inbetween XL and XXL so I was wondering if anyone could tell me what shirt they bought and thier overall build size and waist... I have a 44" waste

Also on the hats I have a 7.5" head so is that L or XL? Once again im in that annoying in between category.. I assume the hats are flexfit now? anyone confirm this?
