Default Sony VS Philips

Ok so tomorrow im getting a new tv

Personally, I don't think either are particularly good value.
Samsung and Visio seem to have the best picture quality.

I think the side by side comparison says more.

But since you keep throwing out links - do a side by side feature comparison. Visio has more inputs (including VGA), and is a 1080p vs the Philips 1080i set.

My wife and I narrowed our choices down to either a LCD (not plasma, maybe LED) Samsung model or Visio in the 40-45" range. We loved the Samsung, but for sheer value (and still getting a great picture) Visio was a very close second.
