First of all you failed to mention Quake 3 and Vigilante 8. My friends and I would spend hours, literally, playing these games. That in part is what makes offline split-screen multiplayer so special to me. I remember how much fun we had, and this was also the reason I pre-ordered an Xbox 360 and Quake 4. I thought, naively, that ID Software would continue to provide offline split-screen multiplayer in their games, but as it turns out I was wrong.

Secondly you failed to mention Resident Evil Code Veronica and D2. Both of these games are from similar genres, but one was done right while the other had serious had issues. It would have been nice to compare and contrast these titles, the good and the bad.

Thirdly you failed to mention an important hardware issue with the Dreamcast, that is the GD-ROM disc format that went the way of HD-DVD. It would be interesting to conjecture what would have happened if Sega had used a DVD drive instead.

Last but not least you failed to mention Half Life, how it was completed but never officially released for this system, how a lot of gamers pre-ordered the walkthrough, and the game itself if I remember correctly, but they never got their money back. I got the software needed to burn the game to a CD so I could play it. My experience was complete and flawless, and it was one of the best times I ever had with a first person shooter.

In the future please remember to cover things comprehensively, and be sure to touch on all the important issues. Don't let politics sway you, and try to remain as unbiased as possible.
