Default Foreign Film Recommendations

Sir can I start a thread about non American movies Sir?

Most movies I see is either American or Swedish and I always suspect that that is a bunch of movies out there that I'm missing. So do you fine guys and gals have any recommendations except Run Lola Run and Amelie?

I, as a Swede, recommend you to Netflix Lukas Moodysson's Show Me Love, Lilya 4-Ever, and Mikael Hafstrom's Evil.

Then you should see Dellicatessen, it's a much better movie with almost the same cast and set somewhat in the same world.

Default Recommend a foreign film

Well, technically all big Hollywood movies are foreign to me. But let's talk movies where people do not speaka tha engliash.

My first one is a Danish movie, I'm from Denmark, I watch movies from here.

It's called "Blinkende Lygter" in Danish, and "Flickering Lights" in English.

This is one of the, if not THE, best Danish movie out there. The acting and cast is incredible, and it's writing is funny as hell.

However, I've heard that the English subtitles are horrible... so that's too bad.
Anyways, I think this is a must for movie buffs.
