I'd like to share or stream old, out of distribution, music I've recorded from cassette when I had my All-in-Wonder setup... I recently setup a myspace page at the prodding of a friend which lets add songs but only from bands still around.. what about the stuff I got from local bands that self produced cassettes and threw them out to the audience that are now defunct? or my buddy's band that made 1 cd (independantly)...Of course I know about bit torrent, Usenet, IRC and warezboards (I'm oldschool)... but alot of my new internet friends arent savvy and would just like a page w/ a player on it.
Ideas? |

You might consider hosting your own icecast or firefly server (itunes compatible)

Well since Muxtape got shut down (thanks RIAA) you'll have to host your webpage on your own server. That's where the Muxtape clone, Opentape, comes in. The thing is there's no service like this (that I know of) because nobody wants to get into copyright infringement battles. However if you use Opentape the chances of getting into trouble are very small.
