I have not had file transfer or link issues that could not be resolved one way or another. I do have a challenge reading the gray on black in the forums. I usually highlight the text to make it easier to read. I would hate for you to change the format, but if you do please consider the color arrangement. I do not plan to change my browser settings since all other sites are i go to are easily readable.

At first I thought it was just me nit picking. Then I showed several other people the 'brilliant' color scheme, they all had similiar comments: "wow, can you read that?", "Is that a bug?", "Who designed that website, they must hate their parents".

Your choice of coloring for your site and forum is, how do I say, DARK. I know this seems to be a common color theme with gamer and hacker sites, but really. Are you trying to be some kind of “underground” edgy site? It is very difficult, if not impossible to see where fields begin and end. The only way I can find them is to highlight the entire page and see where they pop. I can think of better color schemes that work a lot better.

The Revision3 forum is a modified version of a paid forum template http://www.vbstyles.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3077

They have queried changing it before and a good amount of people want to keep this one.

Personally, I also highlight text here (I thought I was the only one!) but it's second nature now and I just do it. Ideally they would integrate it into the proper website's interface (I have no problem with the legibility of text there) but they're probably hard at work on other things.
