The Canon "L Series" lenses are some of the most beautiful pieces of glass on the planet. If one is going to lust over lenses, those are the ones. I'm saving my pennies now for the 135mm/f2.0.

And those earbuds Patrick showed off look and sound like they'd be fantastic...but then for that price they ought to do everything but walk my dogs!

I like that Patrick is getting into the Mil spec gear @ TADgear but there are a number of other options out there other than TAD that I would recommend. I have owned the FAST Pack V2 and V3 and they make good stuff, but if your in the market for a great pack without paying the $$$ I suggest the camelbak urban assault xl for less than half the price of the FAST pack: http://www.camelbak.com/government-m...ssault-xl.aspx

TAD makes a ton a great gear and I am a regular customer but the FAST pack might be within the average person's price range.

Default Western Digital World Books

Veronica mentioned her world book usage lasting years and not using the included software. My experience with them, long story short I had RMA my drive 3 time due to locking up? I finally removed the drive from it's enclosure and installed it in my Linksys NAS 200 and it has worked flawless ever since. also I purchased a world book Mac version that was marked down. I guess pc users were afraid of it cause it said Mac, I use it on my network and it also works without a hitch!
Thanks for the Stocking stuffers on the Christmas, Tech Gifts under $20 podcast, I watch you guys on Miro!~

Merry Christmas!
