Pretty short ep.. they must have been in a rush. Alex started the show right away. Creed showing up in all the Google results for "worst band in the world" is pretty damn funny.

Yep, Alex nearly missed his flight back to L.A. His flight into SF for Diggnation was 3 hours late. We'll make up for this short episode with the live show next week & Alex's mind-blowing Blue Angels flight coming up in ep 247.

LOL Yeah.. Diggnation Kabul.. (Colbert style at a military base) .. no wait... I dont think alcohol is allowed (Glenn could enjoy some naturally grown Afghani tho).
Did alot of those ghost town pics looked "Shopped" to anyone else? The skies especially. Dolphin boat looks kool, but not as kool as Branson's "underwater airplane". I think I saw that he takes people out in it if they stay at his island and cover costs, which are in the $250,000 - 500,000 range for the boat and island staff.. crazy. And Alex... they look for "short-hop" smuggling planes bigtime that are trying to fly under the radar and land at pick-up points in the desert. Best bet using a plane.. is to throw out the cargo w/ mini parachutes to awaiting trucks in the desert, or w/ floatation devices to awaiting boats. (such ideas are for educational purposes only). Most smugglers dont go for the "big haul" tho. They know that 1 or 2 outta 10 shipments are gonna get caught so they'd rather do 10 shipments of 100 - 200#s and only lose 100 or 200# than put all their eggs in one basket and lose a ton. Its just economics combined w/ the law of avgs. Enjoyable ep.. nothing special.. probably due to Alex's travel difficulties..

Didn't watch the show yet but can I suggest that if they are in a rush to get two episodes done like they did this week and last week, they do one long episode and skip a week. I would much rather one good long episode than one sufficiently-lengthed episode without a joke sponsor and one short as hell episode. Take out the sponsors and its almost non-existent. Just a suggestion...

I have to say. You can come up with any of a million different places for an Epic Diggnation. NONE would top one for the troops. To have Diggnation LIVE for the troops in Afghanistan or Iraq, would break all barriers and raise the bar to a level higher than any "podcast" EVER. I support that.
