Solid State Disk Drive = SSD Drive.

If HDD is Hard Disk Drive then one could make the case SSD can be as above. Tom did a good job. I do miss Patrick's just laughing through half the episode but I'm sure he's having fun at CTIA. Or ya know, "the desert".

That was a good episode, although Veronica seemed a little tense for some reason(maybe sick). Tom was very cool. The podcasting info was quite useful, thanks for that.

Anyways keep up the good work and if Veronica was sick, just guessing, get well!

Tom is an awesome host. I know him for BOL and other shows on CNET and I think he's a perfect fit for Tekzilla. Will Patrick be back next week?

What about shoutcast and or icecast. D y n e : b o l i c -- a free multimedia studio in a GNU/Linux live CD can be turned into an instant podcast studio, Multiple display cards with dvi have been out for years. Miro is old news and has been forked a few times. .We have no problems searching pdfs and even converting them to text with software written on the 'nix platforms.

Another great episode. I always like the ones with Loyd (not that I dislike the ones without Loyd...you know what I mean ). I'm mostly in the Nvidia camp, but I may have to check out those ATI cards. That thundering herd of monitors looked like fun!

And if the Miro link in the notes still isn't working, going to http://www.getmiro.com and doing the clicky-clicky mouse thing will get you what you need.

Tom or Bearonica can correct me if I'm wrong, but I got the impression that they showed what they did because its software that each or both of them have actually tried out and used in their own multitude of podcasts, not just fluff they found on the intarwebs. I understand where you're coming from (and I swear I'm really not out to constantly ride you, contrary to what you may think sometimes), but Tekzilla doesn't really have any Linux *power* users in their on-air people who would have Linux podcasting experience.

Tom was great as a host - is it a permanent change? That wasn't really made clear in the show.
