I'm an elementary school teacher, and next week we are having a carnival for a school fundraiser.... My class is making our own booth called "scam school"
here's how it works... kids buy tickets with real money from the school... the money is for the school, and the tickets can be used to play games at the carnival... every kid is a winner, you win a little prize just for trying and you can win a bigger prize for actually winning the game for that particular booth.... our booth, as i said, is called scam school... i am going to be doing a few scams and i need some more ideas from you guys... so far i think i am going to do three card monte, the shell game, and the trick where you try to blow the piece of paper into a bottle... can you guys give me a few other ideas you think would be good for this type of event? (i can't use matches or wine bottles, etc...) it has to be something easy that i can let my class run... i've already taught a few students to do 3 card monte... |

you could do any of the coin puzzles--the four coin puzzle where you try to line them up, or the six coin puzzle where you try to get them in... I just drew a blank on what the shape is called, but it has 6 sides. Or you could do the 11-cent slide.
Or you could just do a bunch of rigged games that Brian has shown us so that nobody ends up winning... muahaha. |

Nothing braces young minds for the world like teaching them that authority is out to get them, way to go.
