How about a game show? Some geek contestants can Skype in and participate in a quiz show with questions about computing, general science, Star Trek, etc.. Prizes can be tech gadgets or copies of Windows 7 Ultimate or whatever. I much rather watch that than the boring game shows on ABC, NBC, CBS where a lady from Fargo, North Dakota has to guess the price of a can of Pringles to win a washer/dryer set.

Panel shows in the UK are pretty huge. I've always thought that if someone made a podcast version at a target audience it'd do amazingly well.
Have a host and 2 team captains (Alex Albrecht would be a great one, funny and knows his geek) who have a guest (or two) each episode and ask geek questions and you have a awesome show. Example of a UK Panel Game Show... |

comedy central beat them to it with "Beat The Geeks"
unfortunately that didn't last too long before it got cancelled.
