Question buying a new 13'' macbook pro shortly...2.3Ghz vs 2.7Ghz?

Hey guys,

I am extremely excited because I am soon going to order one of those brand new macbook pros that just came out like 1-2 weeks ago. I'm getting a 13'' version with a 750GB hard drive, but I'm still a bit torn whether or not to get the 2.3Ghz or 2.7Ghz version. Reason being, some people tell me their macbook pro last 5 years, others tell me only 2-3. I don't want to spend the extra money on 2.7Ghz if it's not going to last that long.

I will be using the laptop mainly to work from home, using the web. I also have a gigantic iTunes library. I eventually want to learn how to code/program/script in Dreamweaver CS5, Flash CS5, etc. I also someday want to learn how to DJ with Traktor Pro 2 using a midi controller.

While I would love to play Half-Life 2 Episode III on it, something tells me it won't be powerful enough to do that, and I don't want to spend $2000 on a macbook pro 15''.

I will be upgrading from a Dell XPS Studio 13 laptop, which I got in December 2008 when they just came out. Dell has yet to upgrade the latest 2009 audio drivers which pisses me off because it crashes the laptop from time to time.

What do you guys think? Is 2.7Ghz a must? Will I be okay on 2.3Ghz for the next few years?
