Why is it that whenever the right does something, they are labeled as evil, bad, whatever. But whenever the left does it, it's this amazing revolution everyone is proud of.

I don't believe that's true with all of the tea party. I had a lot of respect for the original tea party that started as a libertarian movement. But it got hijacked by the GOP as an election tool and you DID have a lot of scumbags come out comparing Hitler to Obama. But I want to follow that up by saying I feel pretty much the same way about Occupy Wallstreet. So I'm not taking political sides here. I'm just calling it as I see it, and I think the tea party's loudest voice used to be the sane and rational. That was when I respected the movement. But when the GOP moved in you had a lot of the irrational as the loudest voice. Which again, I think we're seeing with occupy wallstreet. Scumbags who are turning to violence towards cop, anti capitalist, and people clueless as to why they're even there.

And if ive said anything to the contrary about the tea party in the past I hope this post clarifies how I see things now.

I don't believe that was actually intentionally inferred. It's mainly these sort of debates often break down to sides and thus emphasis on where disagreement is coming from. Thus why it's good to at least try to see past the rhetoric and get to what can actually be agreed upon.

Though true not everyone is strictly on any one side. People can have all sorts of opinions ranging from conservative to liberal, etc. While even people who claim to be of a particular political ideology may not be completely lock step with others of the same claimed ideology.

However, the overall point of hypocrisy is often true. Though it doesn't change that both sides are guilty of putting forth rhetoric and letting politics rule the debate, and it's not like the other side is without its hypocrisy as well.

Let's also not forget the media is often involved with the politics and can be as hypocritical and as full of rhetoric, if not more so, than the politicians they cover. So it's no wonder so few people know what is really going on and who is really to blame.

Arguing with the mindset of a mob, where you're either part of the whole or the enemy, will never solve our problems, it'll just keep the same people in power and things just will keep getting worse.
