I just got an Ipod Touch (my 1st "smart device" and also 1st Apple product). Merry Christmas
I'm an old school guy that will now D/L cracked PC games in "try b4 you buy" because been burnt w/ crappy appz and games before.. I dont even wanna spend a dollar to experiment (neighbor gave me access to his AmEx card for online purchases)... look what happened to the Anonymous/Sony hack where IDs and account info was released... I want to limit (even for a dollar) where my buddy's credit card number is stored... go ahead.. call me paranoid, I havent had ID theft yet but my mother (tech idiot) and neighbor have.. No GPS/tracking/Social/Echelon Group apps need apply. Last edited by hellhound : 12-30-2011 at 08:45 PM. |

Right hand side of the screen are two blocks of links - top is App Store Quick Links, next down is Top Charts. Go to the second group of "Free Apps" and click "See All >" Be careful, not all are free - some are "freemium", no cost to download, but to do anything you need to make in app purchases. Read the comments sections closely. TUAW.com and MacStories.net often have articles on when apps go "free" for a limited time.
