Default can't remove watched videos from subscriptions on YouTube

I don't know where to ask about this.. I figure someone on here would be tech savvy enough to know.

Since they changed the YouTube layout they got rid of the x button to remove videos from your sub box that you either didn't want to watch or that you had watched, now you can't remove any video at all, and the videos will stay no matter if you watched them, or even unsubscribed. Is there ANY way to get rid of these? I mean I have pages going on and on since they updated of subscription videos.

I don't understand this, could someone please explain why they would do this? This is by far the most retarted fucking move they could do. YouTube is so damn terrible. It still has the bug where I clear out all my messages and stuff and it still says I have messages. At this point I seriously want to just start using a different site.
