Nagware on new laptops

We recall some time ago someone mentioned an application which could remove some of the
common Nagware which comes pre-installed on typical laptops from (HP/Dell)

Does anyone know of the name of this past application?

Has anyone found anything better which covers more applications;

On avg we find that over 1/3rd of the installed apps are to be removed. Would be nice to be able to script this somehow...

Look for an "slip streamed install disc".

If the computer is fresh, out of the box, you lose nothing by doing a clean install before moving forward.
