Windows XP USB Flash Drive

I was wondering about putting Windows XP on a flash drive like a 2GB or which ever that would work. Am not talking about put a OS on a Flash Drive Just putting the installation process on it. I was trying to load Windows XP on my HP 2000-369WM AMD Processor 1.65GHz 4.0 GB of RAM and 465GB of Hard Drive and 2 COres. See I was trying to load this Windows XP Professional on it and just loading the installion just gives me a Blue Screen of death. It just kind of sad if it will not work on my newest laptop. I understand when HP told me it will not support or be active to my account or something about not support anymore. But if that is the case I understand and will not try it. But this is 2 Qestions in 1 just asking if it is possible to load or put on windows xp on a usb flash drive Thanks
