For those of you having difficulty finding the show on your cable lineup, Nickelodeon has posted all episodes on their website. It is a low-res stream but better than nothing. That's how I am watching them.

Yep I found it on nick.com this weekend. I've watched the first 3 or 4 episodes, and it's as awesome as I imagined it would be.

I went back and rewatched the TRS review, and I'm surprised the guys commented on how the characters weren't just plug-ins of the first show's characters. I immediately felt that they were. It seemed obvious that her two teammates and two animal companions were substitutes for Sokka, Zuko, Appa, and Momo. I'm not complaining about this, I loved all those characters in the first series and I'm glad there are similar characters here.

The last episode I saw was the one where the bad guy is introduced, and I thought it was great. The whole underground rebellion/secret meetings thing gave me an Akira vibe.

Animals ? Yes. Plug-in similarities for the animals although this polar dog bear thing lacks the personality that Appa had, but the 2 teammates are fairly different, even though one of them actually looks like Zuko ( there isn't a very big range of face-types they draw, in the whole series/lots of similarities ). While you can link personality traits to Sokka and Katara and Zuko, these guys differ aplenty. You'll see differences in the upcoming episodes.

Neither the ferret (can't think of his name) or Naga have the personality of their TOS predecessors and, while there are similarities between Bolin/Sokka & Mako/Zuko, there are also a lot of differences. Also, there aren't really any analogs for Aang or Katara (Katara doesn't count, since she's only been in one ep so far).

Really love this show! Better than I expected! I think Lin is so amazing and I can't wait to see her fight more in the show. Amon seriously is way scarier than the fire lord.

I'm all caught up.

I don't really like the probending stuff, I hope it's over, but goddam if the fight after the probending championship wasn't the best fight scene ever on Avatar (which is saying a lot).

Toph's daughter doing the Spiderman stuff was awesome.

I love this show, but I noticed something in the last episode that is now bothering the shit out of me...

Korra has a really weird skin color. It's not a color that any person would actually have. It's like, grey.

Yes I realize all the people from water tribes are that color. And yes I realize Kitara and Sokka were probably the same color the entire first show, but I just noticed it now
