Default Who's down for a Revision 3 poker game?

I made a play money private poker club on Poker Stars. Who wants to play? I've got a couple of cash game tables made but if there is interest we can have some tournaments. I've done this with a couple other forums and it has always been fun. It a good way to get to know someone. My dad always said that you really get to know someone well when you play golf or poker with them.

Anyway I think it could be fun for Rev3 to have a poker club. Also, I need some volunteers who want to be administrators in the club. An administrator can make tables and tournaments. I'm not going to be around all the time so it would be good if some of you could be administrators and help me out.

It's for play money and only for fun. Who's down?

Here's the instructions on how to join.

You are invited to join my private poker club for Home Games online.

- If you don't already have it, download the free PokerStars software from www.pokerstars.net
- Open the main poker lobby, then click on the Home Games tab
- Click the 'Join a Poker Club' button
- Enter my Club ID number: 639211
- Enter my Invitation Code: Tech TV FTW!

That's it! Once I've approved your membership request, we'll be ready to start playing Home Games online together.

If you want to find out more, visit www.pokerstars.net/homegames

I want to say one more thing. In the other forums that I've done this on, no one really give a crap about the game. It's about chatting and having fun. So if you aren't a poker player, don't worry. Pretty much no one is. It's just an excuse to chat and get to know everyone. Usually the hardcore players make their own tournaments; so anyone who is really into poker let me know and I'll make you an admin.

I used to play on Party Poker and, for some reason I cant remember right now, I moved to PokerStars for playing "real money" NL Texas Hold 'em tournaments. Then after the govt (USA) crackdown I wasnt able to access the sites because it recognized my ISP was from the USA and completely blocked me... has it changed so that the play money games are allowed to be accessed?
Also, as a huge NL TX Hold 'em fan/player... I get totally frustrated by the "Play Money" games... since there are no consequences for dumb ass bets.. there's usually 1/3rd of the table going all-in automatically no matter what cards they have. In my experience... at the end of the 1st round of betting it ends with "call all-in" or "fold". I like to see the flop, at least, before I make a big challenge bet.
