I'm a mad Space Quest fan, loved the games (Esp Ep 3 my first Ega graphics game I think) I think the humour, puzzles and adventures of Roger Wilco were hilarious and entertaining.
If fact Sierra Online adventure games shaped my computing life and I believe assisted in popularising gaming on computers tremendously. So when I discovered that the creators of one of my favourite gaming series had teamed up again to make another Space Adventure (Due to copyright it sadly won't be a Space Quest) I just had to back it and felt obligated to spread the word and help them reach there target of 500K If you like me first started gaming with these types of games I think you'll enjoy what these guys will produce some 20 years on! http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...s-of-space-que What do you guys think of this? |

Doh! When I saw the title I got excited. Thought it meant the Andromeda tv series made by Majel (Barrett) Roddenberry starring Kevin Sorbo. I really liked that show. It was an interesting universe. Hoped maybe they ere looking for $ to bring it back in some incarnation.. Oh well.

Definitely looks promising.
For some reason, I'm always getting Space Quest mixed up with Space Rogue. I was more of a Space Rogue fan, personally, but Space Quest was cool too. |

Hi there
Just thought I'd post back and let you guys know that these folks made their funding with a grand total of $539,767! which is awesome If anyone here back em thanks heaps I'm sure it'll be a really fun and hilarious game. Going through kickstarter it appears that adventure gaming is having a little bit of a renaissance which I for one could be happier about. I believe it's an excellent genre that's capable of quite immersive character and story development and I look forward to what lies ahead. Well just thought I'd let you know how it went. |
