Revision 3 very slow every night in Australia

Hi there,

Quite often, after getting the kids in bed, I like to sit down and watch a couple of episodes of internet tv shows to relax. One of my favourite ones is Film Riot. Now, the time I get to do this is around 8:30pm Australian Eastern Standard time (GMT +11 I think). And when I do try this the videos are unwatchable due to such slooooow downloading. I can't watch a stream straight away. I'd have to start it and then pause for 20 mins or so for it to come down to watch.

This is with speedtest.net reporting I have a 10Mbps download and 19ms ping. And also with me being able to watch 1080p Youtube videos without issue.

I'm following this up with my ISP, but it seems odd that in general my internet is fine, but not watching you guys... at least in the evenings. During the day I have no problems watching revision 3 shows.

Any ideas?

Try watching it on https://www.youtube.com/user/filmriot . I don't think Revision3 has a POP in Australia, so you're likely getting it from Los Angeles or some faraway hub.
