Roku 2 XS Custom Firmware & Usb Play Back

Hello every one ,
I have been looking for custom firmwares for my roku 2 xs box but i just cant see any. Does any one know if any one develops such. I am mainly interested in a firmware that improves on variety of video file formats that can be played back from the USB.

Streaming form the internet is of no use to me.(lack of bandwidth )

Any suggestions would be help full.
