Sound system upgrade

Hi guys n gal. I just wanted to ask you a question. I'm not a huge techie kinda person, but absolutely love watching your show. I managed to rig up a home made 3.1 system through an old amp wired up to my TV a couple of years ago which acts as my sound set when watching blu rays and also use it to play my music through as well. As space is quite limited and would like to upgrade to a plug & play 5.1 wireless system. Are there any cable free products out there which could give you 5.1 sound through an RCA? Self powered speakers would be the best solution for my room as there's nothing to block the signal. What would I be able to get for a £200 budget? Also would there be any option to manually adjust the speaker levels as opposed to being stuck with just the basic graphic equalizers? I'm not looking for an all out bass blasting package, but would love ideally a fairly decent all round sound experience. What would you recommend I get within my limit?
