Galaxy Player 5.0

My Zune HD battery is dying, I only get like 10 hours of audio(which is no big deal), but 2-3 hours of video.
So I was thinking of getting a Samsung Galaxy Player 5.0($150 refurbished at bestbuy).
But before I buy it. Is there a no contract phone(Windows 7, or 8, or android, no iPhone) out there that is no more then $200. That has similar or specs. Has to have expandable memory.
I don't need a phone(I get a dumb phone for that), just mainly using it for a PMP. So I don't need a contract.
