No usb input on my old vizio VX37L.
Is there a way to utilize the existing a/v inputs to play those files off a flash drive? No computer oriented or gaming solutions please but would consider an inexpensive media player of some sort....all i need it to do is give me a way to connect the flash drive to the flat panel with a player program and remote control. |

I saw a review of this item on CNET.
http://reviews.cnet.com/audio-system...-34850104.html The reviewer stated that if video playback was the intended use then this item would not be the best choice. Thank you though. I'm looking into the WD TV Live. It has a 1TB HDD as well as a USB 2.0 input. It is more than what i was loooking to spend but the added benefit of the storage may be worth the money. Anybody else have any suggestions? |

The Roku will handle it - you just need to make sure the video is in the "right" format.
It comes with a BT based remote which is nice (don't need line of sight to control), and has a USB port. If the Apple TV has a usable USB port, I'd suggest that.
