Dan, HK action films and Seeping Dogs

Pretty surprised the guys aren't reviewing Sleeping Dogs this week especially considering Dan's love of Hong Kong action cinema. I'm loving the game myself.

Who else is loving this game?

Alex may have vetoed it. He hates open world games like GTA and Red Dead Redeption, as I recall. He didn't play Skyrim at all and refused to review it. He just sat there during the review, maybe asked a question or two about the gameplay. (WTF?!)

Or maybe they just need some time to play it, and they'll get to it next week? I would like them to review it, certainly.

FWIW, Jeff had a lot of positive things to say on last Friday's Weekend Confirmed.

I thought it was odd that Jeff was talking about it on Weekend Confirmed last week, and then they reviewed Darksiders 2...maybe next week. (Of course, I have both and went with Sleeping Dogs to play first...)

I was looking forward to it since it was first announced (though, I liked the pre-True Crime concept as well)...and it's quite fun. Only issue of significance I have is the camera at times...though that's mostly when in a vehicle and not going all out forward (then again, all the vehicles act funny in reverse.) I finished the story early this morning and only have a few Stat Awards to get up to gold to get my last 3 trophies as well.

The melee combat took some getting used to, admittedly, but I like it.
