I have a hard time understanding the negative attitude to Tekzilla without anyone having seen it yet.

Give it a chance. You might love it.

All good things come to an end. It is sad when a love affair expires. I'm sure that all parties involved would have rather found a more amicable solution.

I think it's wrong to characterize "Tekzilla" as the show that replaced "InDigital."

I know the situation leaves a bit of *G4TechTV* taste in ones mouth. But, I don't believe that anyone acted maliciously.

Like any affair, this one seems to have been killed by differing expectations. This happens. We cannot be any more bummed by it than the parties directly involved.

I'll miss "InDigital" here at Revision3. Hahn's a great talent and he'll land on his feet. I won't forget about him. However, that doesn't mean forgetting our other Revision3 friends.

We should all hold hands now...

Relying on the defense that Rev 3 is a business, as a means to let Rev 3 of the hook for axing the show is just plain wrong.

If you love Rev 3 anyway, hey thats just great. But for everyone else who feels betrayed like myself, they ( Rev 3 ) have just tarnished their image.

Based on the info that has become public...

Is this a foreshadowing of other "business decisions" to come? is this what IPTV and new media is about? I don't think so. New Media does not require the same ol " business model, and I think the boys at the top are taking a bad approach to a seemingly resolvable issue.

And how did Rev 3 start? These home brewed shows, that had a loyal fan base. So loyal they were willing to shell out some 60 bucks a year to support them.

In the end, you just pissed off a lot of people. And not just anyone, but the tiny, tiny, tiny, snippet of people who even know about Rev 3.

Default I always liked Jim

..oh on a side note. I have always liked Jim L. Watched him all the time on TechTV, subbed to PC Mag because of him actually, and I must say it is very classy to see him come into the forums and get involved. Hang in there Jim, I am expecting great things in the coming years.

Default Isn't this Rev3

Isn't phasing out home brewed shows and consolidating everything to a central studio more Rev2 than Rev3?

If thats the case then Rev3 should pick up that IT sitcom that NBC is going to axe... Alex Albrecht would crap his pants if he knew he could get an extras part on a real show.

...EXACTLY!

Although InDigital has been a fun show, as Revision3 has grown we’ve realized that the best way to move forward is to have all of our in-house shows produced in our new facilities in San Francisco. We’re building a new studio that will give us tremendous economies of scale and competitive advantage, but it is located here in the bay area (see more on the Revision3 Gazette, and watch the studio being constructed live via our studio cams).

We’ve been clear with Hahn for almost a year that he would need to move to San Francisco to continue working at Revision3, and producing InDigital. Back in July, Hahn decided not to move to San Francisco, and we realized that InDigital could not proceed without Hahn.

Although we considered continuing InDigital in San Francisco, with Jessica Corbin, Wil Wheaton and Patrick Norton, we realized that it would be fairest to Hahn – who created the show – and to our viewers if we developed a new show that included some of the best of InDigital, but was able to chart its own course.

I’m sorry we couldn’t come to an agreement with Hahn, and have him be part of the exciting things we’re doing at Revision3 in San Francisco. He’s a talented video producer and host , and I know he’ll be successful in whatever he does next.

As for us, I encourage all of InDigital’s fans to try Tekzilla, which debuts this Friday at 10am. I think you’ll enjoy the mix of product reviews, technology help and products. Although Hahn’s gone, I know we’ll keep the spirit of InDigital alive inside Tekzilla.

Jim Louderback
CEO, Revision3
Hahn is getting my full support here as a fan of him and Indigital.

I am sorry Jim, this post you made shows there's a clear friction between Rev3 and Hahn. This company rev3 that used to be a company "that gets it" is now just another one of those companies that .. doesn't.. I am really sad to see, with you as CEO now of Rev3, these type of changes. And after watching the last episode of Indigital I feel like I get it why Hahn was not happy At All at how things ended. I think this is a very poor decision, and one Hahn was forced into. Hahn : You're awesome. Jim : Not so much.
