CoD4 Best ending for a FPS ever? *Spoiler Alert*

I am talking about the ending not the bonus mission.

That was intense.

I loved every bit of this game, and it was so refreshing and unique to have an ending like that. I thought I was dead, then I was rescued by the marine, and then he was taken out, and I genuinely felt sad that the person trying to save me was taken out. Then with everything in slomo you see captain price toss you the pistol as Zhakrov (sp) is distracted. It was just like being in some epic war movie, it was the kind of ending I wouldn't expect from a game and I loved every second of it. I was honestly sad to see all the comrades I had gone through the entire game with lying dead around me. Unlike most FPS which end with an epic chase or a boss battle this one provoked emotion, and I think it could possibly be the best ending for a FPS of all time.

Yea , the campaign was tons of fun. From the car ride / execution to busting a cap in Zhakrov's ass. Jeff said it right this game does draw you in and make you feel like a bad ass. I just wish the campaign was longer.

I totally agree, best single player campaign that I have played in a long time. I am a huge fan of the Halo, I havent touched it in almost a 3ish weeks. I was wow'ed from the point your character dies during the middle of the game, thought I was a goner for sure at the end. I know it gets tossed around it seems like ever week a new game comes out but if this doesn't get GOTY Im not sure I could agree with much else.

My heart dropped when they killed Gaz. I loved him so much. And he was just executed by that Zakharov bastard. I was more than happy to put a bullet in his head.
