Hey Guys,
Not sure if this thread topic has came up before on the TRS boards, but I wanted to see how you guys game... ![]() So, when you play FPS games (console), do you play with an inverted y-axis, or do you play normally? * *Make sure to vote in the poll** I, myself, choose to play inverted. I am not really sure why I started, but I have gotten so used to it now, I can't even be productive with the regular axis. It is quite annoying though because when a friend and I take turns on a single player game, they usually always play with the regular axis. That means diving into the menu system and changing the setting each time... ![]()

The first thing I do when playing a new FPS is go in and invert the controls... I just end up aiming at the ceiling the entire time if i don't... I just can't play at all if the Y-axis is set on normal.

Until recently I had never thought about it but ever since I got Call of Duty 4 I go with the inverted. I dunno, for some reason it just seems better/easier.

I play inverted, and I have no idea why. Were there games in the past that automatically had it set to inverted? I don't remember one day just deciding that I'll play inverted for the hell of it, but I'm just used to it.

I play normal. Just easier for me for whatever reason. Tho, whenever I'm in a flying vehical, I have to play it inverted or I get confused. Is that weird..?

I used to always play inverted (I think Goldeneye used inverted as default), but when the first Halo came out, it was really hard for me to play because I would play with my buddies in a group of about 8, taking turns every round, so I didn't have the luxury of being able to switch back and forth between inverted and normal. That's when I decided to start playing with just the normal configuration, I don't know if it's better or not, that's just what I use.
