Yo Tea Drinkers.

What are your favorite teas, loose/bagged, and where do you get it?

This green tea I bought in Chinatown. That's about all I can tell you, because the bag just has chinese characters on it I bought it on smell alone haha!

I also like the genma chai from Adagio. I like the nutty taste of it... unique, for a tea. The sencha from adagio is also pretty good.

But, most of the teas I like are just new teas that friends let me try. Mostly green, but some black... to me, it's all good. Heck, I even like Arizona diet green tea with Ginseng! Heresy, I know!

I LOVE that Arizona green tea! I also have to admit I'm a sucker for a nice cold can of Brisk ;-)

Green Pekoe is my fav. Fallowed closely by White Monkey and Chamomile. All lose and all from Adagio. Bagged tea is garbage. And yes Diggnation got me into tea. I got the Kevin Rose Diggnation Sampler for Christmas last year. I have spent upward of $600 on tea since.

I pimp the Sweet Tea, being as I am a North Carolina resident. I roll my own with Lipton bags and 1.5 cups of sugar per gallon.

Boil 2 cups water, mix in 1-1.5 cups of sugar, stir till clear. Soak 2-4 tea bags in hot mixture for 10-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. pour into 1US Gal. jug, fill remaining volume with ice and water, stir vigorously.

I just get green or white looses tea from Wegmans... it's good.

The Republic of Tea, green tea. It is so rich and strong and good. Put some honey and a little milk in there and its a good morning

I love pretty much all tea that Fortnum & Mason sell. They make a holiday blend that is wonderful to smoke turkey with.
