Default Microsoft ADS killing digg???

Digg is sooooooo slow now, and i have reason to believe its the MSN ads server that is slowing the site down.

I am using Firefox, and i even switched off my Ad blocker for the Digg site but its still so slow

Digg is no fun if i have to wait for a minute or more before a page loads.

update: its the banner ads. they're too slow. fix it Microsoft

I'm not having speed issues with the site, I find Digg pretty speedy tbh.

I totally agree, I avoid digg now, Safari keeps popping up "script" too slow dialogues ever since they went with ms ads.

Which version of firefox are you guys using? I use the FF3 Beta, and digg loads very quickly in it...

well when i hit the digg site everything looks like its about to happen quickly, the progress bar gets to about 90% then it hangs at "transferring data from ads1.msn.com..." for about a minute or two.

by the way its not happening right now, but it was happening a couple of hours ago and all day before that.

good enough reason?
