Which movie should I watch?

Ok, as a father of young son, I rarely get the chance to go to the cinema anymore, but as my wife is out of town on Saturday and taking my son with her, I have the day to myself to indulge in some Metroid Prime 3 and take in a movie in town. The question is which of these movies do I go and see?

It really depends on your mood I think. I won't vote because it really is up to you.

None of these movies really have me all that excited. I know Enchanted has been getting a lot of excellent reviews so that would probably be my choice if I HAD to go to one of those 4.

i didn't think American Gangster was anything special really... it was kinda a mix of Blow and Scarface (in terms of a rise and fall of a gangster) for me. Both films being much better in my opinion.

i voted for assassination. I haven't seen it but it looks awesome and i WISH i could see it in the theater...

I voted for Assassination because I have seen it and it is awesome. It's a real slow burn, so it's not for everyone's taste but the cinematography is stunning and the performances are great. The comparisons to Malick's work are entirely appropriate. Plus... see Chopper if you haven't seen it. It's Andrew Dominik's debut, quite different in style but a movie I'm really proud to call Australian.
