i heard about both, and i thought both was silly. i don't care if alex is on G4 for a day or a year, and i really haven't seen Kevin innovate any thing important. yet, but i think he will.

OK everyone had too much of a hard on for the "Alex being back on G4" subject. Those who cared watched.

What Kevin does gets attention mostly from Digg.com users. OK then. Geeze I don't even know how to say you useless people are trying to make a subject out of nothing so someone knows YOUR name.

Shut the hell up. If people want to talk about Alex on AOTS ok. If people want to mention Kevins successes with Digg.com or his partenership with Rev3 then do it. We all have the gift of rev3 to choose which threads we read. Before anyone "Flames me". Realize that I chose to respond to this stupidity.

Being one of the biggest innovators is a huge deal,being on some crap network for a day is nothing as it is on a pointless show...yet people go insane for the pointless..WHY?

The base answer to that question is that....well now that I look back there's not a question in your post...but I would say that being on a popular 'tech' show - if you want to call it that - like AOTS will have immediate effect on the number of viewers on Rev3 and in particular to the TRS. Kevin's innovations will have a lasting but slower effect on things. Also, AOTS and Diggnation and the TRS are the same medium. People are seeing and hearing Alex on television and reacting to his charisma. When you read about someones accomplishments in a magazine any charisma they may have on their shows or in person is not translated. I'm guessing well less than 30% of PC Mag readers closed the magazine they were reading to check out the TRS. I would guess that many more people heard the plug on AOTS and immediately looked it up.

If Kevin had hosted AOTS and Alex was featured in PC Mag the reaction would have been the same and the reason I gave as to why that is wouldn't change.

Personally, I love literature, art, and the finer things in life, but, I was also quick to snatch a peak at Britney's uh...snatch...when it was revealed too....heh....I can't lie. I drink the retarded kool-aid too every once in a while. Hell, I even tuned into AOTS to see how Alex did. With all that said I do understand and agree somewhat with your point.

Probably also has something to do with kevin being a well established person in the industry while alex is still working on getting his name on peoples lists and finally got on one of them.

I cared about the news since I like AOTS, like Diggnation, and recently my cable company took away G4.

Who is to say nobody cares about Kevin's thing? Alex is on TV, so of course people will make a big deal out of it. G4 is a great environment for Alex.

People fail to realize that G4 when Alex and Kevin were there is not what G4 is now.
