iSteve has decided he has to much on his plate to be aorund the forums regularly, let alone post a regular thread, so I'm taking over, at least for the time being. Should be fun.
DC: An overall mediocre week for DC. They went the Marvel route and just put out fairly standard action shot covers, opting out of some of the more fun and innovative things we see from them plenty of weeks. There was a really fun use of colors that saved a few titles, most notably Wonder Woman. I've realy been loving the Wonder Woman covers for a while. Vertigo and Wildstorm, on the other hand, decided to pass straight past mediocre on their way to totally forgettable. Blech. Marvel: Marvel did what they do best, and I think that gets them the overall company of the week in my book. They didn't step to far out of their comfort zone, sticking to good action shots, and a few still-shots throughout. They also seem to, overall, be sticking to a more painted look on most covers, and I've been sincerely enjoying it. I think I pass over Marvel covers most weeks, as they stick to action shots, which I find a little boring, but when I see everyone else attempting to do the same, I'm really noticing that they do it because they stand out with it. Image: A standard week for Image. The usual good Walking Dead cover, and a few fun things to sit nicely beside it. Not a whole lot ot mention. Dark Horse: Only three titles in a week makes it tough to have a really strong week. If you have one bad cover that there gives you a lousy 67%, so I'll try and go easy. BPRD was okaaaay. That's about as close as I can get to being nice. I hated all three covers. Cover of the Week: Wonder Woman #15 ![]() |

Wonder Woman fighting the Nazi Society. So classic.
I got a feeling Simone is going to be touching on deeper WW history in the months to come. Mmm. Spy Smasher.

Thanks, Kwok. I'm kind of a cover geek, I absolutely love them. Even on the weeks that I don't pick up books (which is probably 3/4 of them) I check out all the websites to see what covers I'm missing.

Do you know of a link to a (fairly) detailed list of covers?

The Wonder Woman cover was NOT done by Adam Hughes. It was the Dodsons. Please refer to post #4.
