She's really a Canadian thing. She basically replaced Cat Schwartz after "Call for Help" moved to Canada. She has a fairly well received video podcast called "Command-n" and audio podcast with Leo Laporte called "Net at Night." She is also widely assumed to be a notch on Kevin Rose's bed post.

She's a very nice person by all accounts and probably doesn't deserve any scorn. That being said, I find it very unlikely that she'll work for Revision3 because she lives in "Toronto" and her family is in PEI.

i'm really trying to scorn her. i just saying that based of what i've been shown she is nothing to pay attention to. i sorry but if you are fancy tech reporter, then i execpt something more than a simple typepad blog full of internet ''stories'' pulled off of fark.

Her blog is neglected. But, she's a talented producer of video content. However, I think that Revision3 already has a queen bee.

I don't think that Kevin wants another Ex-Girlfriend working for him. He already has Sarah Lane on the payroll, and I think that is because they dated for a long time and are probably still really good friends. Amber seemed to be a less serious relationship, and I would guess that having Amber AND Sarah around him would not be too comfortable for Kevin. Who would be hired next? Lala and Posh Suicide?

It was implied that KRose dated Amber when he did a few guest spots on CFH up in Canada and also in the Diggnation from Canada (never outright confirmed, course nor was Lala or Posh either).

And Yes, Rev3 should do something with Amber, she's well respected in the podcast community and fun to listen to and well informed as well...
