Ideas to Improve the Forums

I often find that I like to be active on the forums as I am watching an episode of one of my favorite Revision3 shows. Wouldn't it be a great feature to have the Episode Discussion tab (located under the video you are watching) actually be the direct forum thread so you never have to navigate away from the page? Anyone agree/disagree? Please voice your thoughts :-)

**UPDATE** In addition to the previous idea. Also what about a quick "Reply to first thread" button on the top of you page in case you want to post multiple times.

Are there enough ladies to warrant such a forum? I think it's an interesting idea.

I think there's enough, I'm just thinking it could be a place to talk about girls views on tech stuff, as well as... stereotypical lady stuff like crafts / cooking etc.

edit: It could be called like a ladies lounge type area, but of course guys could comment if they have similar interests in baking or knitting or whatever, just for an example.

I propose a guy forum, then. We could call the guys' forum "The Garage" and the ladies' forum "The Kitchen", and perpetuate the usual tired and worthless gender stereotypes that exist.

Is there a need to make a point out of gender?

I guess that would kinda go under the Popsiren forum come to think of it. Maybe make a ladies' thread to start, then we can look at the possibility of something just for women?

There is a guy forum for sure, it's called the internet.

Why not try to encourage more women to be part of Revision3?

Uhmmmm... what?

I wasn't trying to make it a gender thing, plenty of forums I frequent have a male dominate base, and they have a ladies forum for such topics as I stated earlier so specific topics don't get lost in the mix.

It seems like it could end the way of the Men's Rights thread, and that is the only thing that would turn me off to the idea.
Also, would you want it so that guys couldn't even really look at it? I mean, we don't want them stealing our grandmother's secret family recipes!! I doubt it would be possibility on this particular site, but... We could find tech crafts. That would be fun.
