Ideas to Improve the Forums

How about having an "exclude" setting next to a poster's screen name. That way you can exclude someone's posts from the thread if you find them boring or repetitive. Kinda a "micro-ban" without the negative aspect.

People never know how a mod will react to getting in trouble or something. May go crazy and ban tons of people.

To improve the forums I think I should have admin privileges and get paid 200k a year.

Thats already there - its called the "Ignore List".

Go to the User CP option above, and see the "Buddy/Ignore List" option on the left side menu (its towards the bottom of the page).

I'm lazy. If I'm in a thread and there is some discussion between two people that I don't find interesting I think it would be easier to just exclude them while I am reading. But they may have something to say elsewhere. I don't know if ignore is site-wide or just the thread.

Well, people might be worried that if it gets to the mods and it was negative, the complaint might be filed under T subsection rashcan.
