Default Revision3's Method of Advertising....

Revision3's method of advertising is really something to be proud of. They make advertising interesting. The superbowl stuff on diggnation was amazing and truly memorable moment. Watching Kevin with ribs all over his face was priceless and a part I wont forget soon. Their method of advertising is something to be proud of. And of course, Internet Superstar has adapted these methods as well and its really awesome to see. Way to turn advertising into not just another ad but an actual part of the show.

Anyone else seen this in others shows, etc?

While I do like the way Rev3 does advertising, it's actually not a new concept. Incorporating adverts into a show was pretty much the standard in the early days of broadcast television; a concept carried over from early radio. I love that they've brought the idea back and put their own spin on it--the super bowl dream sequence being a perfect example. So cheers on ya.

They could do better. When streaming videos there could be an avertisement bar on the bottom that when clicked gets you sent to the website just like what metacafe and YouTube do and that's why I think broadcasting over the internet is going to be so much better. People will actually see the advertisement and there's no wasted time in watching commercials.

I think Rev3 actually does do things a little bit different. You're talking about product placement, I believe.

I just tried, and I can't for the life of me figure out how to ghost post. Very odd.

I have an account. It's what I'm posting under. Something is wrong with it and I'm waiting for someone from rev3 to look into it (I e-mailed a cpl of days ago.)

And, no, I'm not talking about product placement--check out some variety shows from the 40s.
