I think Revision3 should make a system where people can choose from a menu their mobile device to watch vidcasts and others can insert their settings for a device that isn't supported. I just think this is possible because of a bookmark that I used for Google Video (when it was still working) had a few links to choose from. As of right now, it's a pain to transcode videos once it's done downloading. Plus, it would be easier on your servers because the size could be split in half according to some devices.

umm, I'm sorry but I have to disagree. Diggnation is already offered in .m4v(quicktime/ipod), .ogg(theora), .wmv, and .avi (XVid). With a large and small version of each. I understand having to transcode to get to a format you can use, but seriously have you looked at the other shows rev3 hosts? Some are only offered as a .m4v like geekdrome. That's one of the main reasons I don't watch it is because I don't want to spend time transcoding. I'd like to see a standard set of video formats for the whole "station" before I start to see these specialized formats.
