Default Camera video to Computer: Old school camera

Hey guys, I've been wanting to get into video editing on the cheap. Nothing special just some cheap stuff with Windows Movie Maker and my old camera. I mean very old camera. It runs on tape and only was two outputs, RCA video out, and stereo audio out. Is there any way I can connect this to my computer to get the video digitalized?

Any help would be... Um... Helpful. Thanks!

Yes, but you need a video capture device of some kind. They can actually quite pricey. There are are several inexpensive memory based DV-cameras that are prices about the same.

Not necessarily. Something like the Dazzle Video Recorder is USB 2.0 based, cost $50, and takes streaming video and audio from a VCR or a Camcorder and saves it to disc. Once saved to disc, you can cut and chop it to your hearts content. I used something similar to get my wedding video from a Sony Hi8 (Super Hi8?) based camcorder to disc.

Its not going to give you high end video production, and since you need to "play" the video to the capture device, its not a speed demon, but it works.
