Default Metropolis!

Has anyone seen Metropolis yet? AMAZING ground-breaker of a movie. Check it out if you haven't already, then come back and let us know what you think.

What version should I be on the lookout for? Is there a nice collector's edition available?

As far as I know, there's only one version that's widely available - one Kino Video released in '03. Be careful if you find older versions, though. There have been issues dealing with lost footage, and it looks like the most complete version was reassembled in 2002, so it's probably best to avoid anything released before then.

This is the name of the file torrent you should look for: "Metropolis (restored version).avi". It is 709,804KB.

y'know what's funny? The same day this episode aired, my buddy and I found a copy of Metropolis bundled in a DVD set with a bunch of old black and white horror classics like Nosferatu and Little Shop of Horrors...I've yet to watch them though, save Metropolis, which I've seen many a time and still love to this day.
