Man, I know Rare's latest track record, I know it won't be the same team, I know it was eight years ago when I was digging the N64 games, I know I'm probably feeling nostalgic about the games and looking through rose-coloured glasses, I know that the first one was a collectathon, I know that I don't have a 360 and that chances of it appearing anywhere else are incredibly slim, but DAMN, I want this game!

And I don't even know anything about it.

This is amazing. But I think i'm more excited about Viva Pinata 2! But Both games are on my must have list!

Can't wait for Banjo Threeie. Rare has been lacking lately. Their last truly good game was Conker's BFD. Let's hope Banjo Threeie changes that.

I actually just read an article on Kotaku. The full name of "Banjo Threeie" has been released. It'll be called "Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts"

Viva Pinata is one of the best games on the 360. Glad they are making a sequel. Hopefully I won't need to rely on pinataisland(dot)info so much for the sequel.

I have doubts in this game since Rare just is a shell of what it used to be since all the talent from the N64 days long since left...MS so far bought Rare but never got Rareware.

Rare has had one decent title put out since the MS purchase with Viva but they even screwed up Diddy Kong and conker Xbox was a letdown and PD zero sucked and we won't go into grabbed by the ghoulies shitfest and that other launch rare game that sucked.

I hope this game turns out good but doubt it

- Vehicle designs can play a large role in missions. We saw one where you had to collect coconuts from a field and got a small truck that could suck them up. Unfortunately you couldn't fit all the coconuts in the truck and had to back and deliver them in a large barrel. We were then shown how you could create a helicopter with a hook, that could pick up this large barrel, fly to the coconut field and fly low to scoop the coconuts in the barrel.
- Physics are awesome in this game and everywhere! With one design I placed the foot-in-a-box weapon behind a propella, and when I tried to use it, the foot/boot couldn't get past the propella... well, until I used it enough times to actually kick the propella off the vehicle!
- Pixel art... imagine the possibilities (Rare already had an example of this, paying homage to a certain plumber)
- Multiplayer is great fun with the ability to either chose from pre-fabricated or own vehicle designs. It still needs some polish here and there, but showed great promise.
Sounds like a blast!

Banjo-Kazooie was one of my favorite games for the N64, but I don't think very many people that worked on it are still at Rare.

I'm still hoping it's good though!

Heres some gameplay footage.

All I can do is let out a huge sigh. I was REALLY looking forward to this game. I am not sure I like the idea of so much vehicular combat in a game that should be a platformer, but I guess we will see.
