Can anyone tell me where to find a dvi cable for a decent price and for a hd pc monitor would it make a deference?

bluejeanscable.com and monoprice.com both have come with high recommendations from Robert Heron. Monoprice got me stuff from CA to MD in only a few days. Great delivery, never needed their customer service. Never used Bluejeanscable before.
As for the second part, not sure, not running any HD graphics cards. |

I wen't ahead and ordered an dvi to dvi cable from monoprice.com. It did infact make the text a bit sharper. Not a massive difference, but noticeable. I would get one, at monoprice they are dirt cheap anyways, so you have nothing to lose.

DVI is noticably clearer than a VGA connection. Well worth the investment.

It's odd no one mentioned that VGA is analog and DVI is digital. That means any signal from your computer's GPU is going from digital to analog back to digital when using VGA. DVI allows the signal to go through as digital. That's a big reason DVI is clearer, it's never changed into an analog signal.
