Default iShowu DVD Help

Great episode guys!!! I was wondering if I could get some help with iShowu. I'm trying to burn a screencast to DVD and once on the DVD it flickers when you view it on a CRT TV. It looks fine when viewed on a LCD. Please help!! Any info or idea on what settings I need to use in iShowu and FCP would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jesse

Default hmmmm

Reviews say that os/x 10.6 will no longer support the ppc architecture and there will be essentially no new features excepting bug fixes and ms compatibility. Not only that, it might not be out for another year.

My brother plans to get the new iphone. I thought he was smart. I will wait for openmoko. and the free airwares that google allegedly promised.. One of my ex-girlfriends gave me a pay as you go phone. I will use that sparingly for the time being.

My other brother was a apple fanatic for years, but finally pulled the polyester from his eyes.

Okay, I'll say it. I'm one of the people who would look closer at the iPhone (actually more likely an iPod Touch) if it would support a stereo bluetooth headset (like the Motorola set I have on right now). Having to have a wire from the phone to the headset is like *so* 20th century, and having to touch buttons on the phone/player instead of using the buttons on the headset is even worse.

And please tell me that was indeed a hint that Tekzilla will become a TiVoCast. I'm lazy. I hate copying files to a thumb drive and firing up Sneaker Net just to watch Tekzilla on my 32" TV.

An all around good show. I loved the outtakes with Camilla.

I don't know why exactly, but I love seeing Camilla on the ads and the bloopers! She really ought to be the new co-host for Systm!

I second the plea to review the "Optimus Maximus keyboard".

Great show Patrick and V!

For the recovering old files segment, is it possible that Vista placed Matt's old C drive contents in a Windows.Old folder, as it will do when upgrading from XP to Vista (and in some cases upgrading Vista). If this is the case, he should be able to see that he is consuming alot more drive space than he should with a clean install. He would be able to navigate to C:\Windows.old\Users\<username>\Videos, or wherever he had the tekzilla episodes stored...possbily the iTunes podcast directory. This would be alot easier than recovering deleted files now marked as free space.

Agreed on the Optimus Maximus keyboard segment, Me Want!!!

On the Apple discussion, if anyone wants more info on Snow Leopard - www.apple.com/macosx/snowleopard/
