Backing up messages on the iPhone

I dont do that much texting, but over the life of my iPhone, I have finally gotten the message that my SMS box is almost full (1000 limit is a little sad ><)

I was curious about pulling the sms messages off the phone and backing them up on my PC. Ive searched around and found a nice program called Syphone for OSX that does exactly what I want it to, but I havent found anything for the Windows users. From what ive found, everytime you sync the phone, it backs up that info on the computer, but I have yet to actually find the sms.db file on my pc, and im not really sure how to pull files off of the iphone itself.

Im sure I could go back and pull important numbers and info that i need from the texts, but im sure there is a way to pull the info out. So any advice or info would be appericated
