You click on the progressbar to go forward/backward.

I really really really hope that was meant to be sarcastic.
Of course I know you have to click the progress bar to advance or rewind the video. The thing is, when i click on said progress bar, it brings me to the beginning of the video, no matter where i click. I tried this in IE as well and i can advance the video but i cant go back. I asked my girlfriend to try it and she said she can rewind and skip ahead fine. So it may very well be that I have the oldest computer known to man. Any suggestions? (other than the obvious) |

yep, it's a bug we're working out. Our encoder is doing bad metadata for flash7 (our "low quality" flash). The "high quality" (flash8) should be just fine in the meantime.

No, it was not meant to be sarcastic.
Lots of people have keyboards with FF/Rew buttons on them thse days. Sometimes they FF, sometimes they skip to the next track in a playlist - often depending upon the plugins you have installed in Firefox and how those plugins interact. I knew there were issues with the lo res encoding (a simple search in the forums would have revealed that), but was not aware it impacted FF/REW functionality as well. When you give minimal information on the problem (which show? all shows? hi res? lo res? plug ins?) it makes it hard to troubleshoot. At least you provided the browser version and the OS ... thats more than most do.
