Default iPhone/EDGE Speaker Interference

Ok, so I'm sure a lot of you people both own iPhones (or phone's using EDGE that send/receive many times a day) as well as work at computers all day. If this is the case, then you're probably familiar with the awful interference your speakers screech when your phone is next to your speakers and sending/receiving data over EDGE.

I read somewhere recently that there are these little shields (or something) that you can wrap around your speaker wires to get rid of this interference, but I can't remember what they're called. Anyone have an idea of what I'm talking about?

cheap solution is to wrap tin foil around your speaker wires. looks ugly, but it works.
