Would not be Madden if it wasn't.
Madden only approves the games each year after they reached new level of mediocrity.

I've noticed the voice overs are pretty glitchy and when they show my stats the Time of Play is wrong most of the time...

I've had it say 3 seconds and i've had it say some crap like 17273.2

otherwise i have yet to run into anything big(playing on the 360)
I'm about to the 5th or 6th week of the regular season(also did preseason) on 5 min Q.

I'm guessing ive had some glitches i just didnt notice. like some stuff during the run. but still nothing big to make me go omfg!

also have returned a few Missed Field Goals for TDs thats been nice...not glitches just like fricken sweet moments

besides the graphics upgrade and the madden IQ and Rival games this game really hasn't changed, the superstar and franchise mode are exactly the same as the last,

For some reason I really suck at defense. I guess I always have but now it's really blatant haha.

My gaming habits have changed and I don't think I'm a sports game guy anymore. Gaming is more of an entertainment thing now that I don't have that much leisure time and it feels silly to spend it playing a football game when I could be playing Burnout or Bioshock.

Google "madden 09 sliders" and as the game is out longer people will come out with more realistic sets of sliders, to reduce the troubles with balancing and whatnot in the game.

I bought it today and had time to play one game so far, and I ended up winning 13-10 in a very close game, decided in the last 2 minutes of the 4th 5-min quarter. I'll have to play more, but it doesn't seem too too bad. I like Collinsworth's voice stuff, but the play-by-play announcer is honestly an android.

I agree with u on everything u said, lol.

I feel I've lost my love for sports games when I should be virtually killing someone..and my defense is horrid too.

I hadn't bought a Madden title in nearly 5 years due to many of the previously states reasons above, but I got it this year. I like it, but ya there is a lot of glitches, and I'm not a huge fan of this year's commentating.

On that note, I'm a bigger hockey fan and these guys should talk to Bill Clement and Gary Thorne. Those guys make the game a lot more fun, sorry Collinsworth.

Anyways, anybody up for a game sometime?
